What it’s like to be part of the Bluewave team

Quarterly “Chompathons” allow the design team to explore creative solutions to hypothetical problems, culminating in lively discussions about the creative process, design trends, and new ideas to present to our clients. We believe that everyone on our team has valid insight – from our Design Director to our Intern.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior level
Bluewave is a growing creative agency looking for an experienced freelance designer to help grow our team and capabilities. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, collaborative, and experienced in a variety of mediums. We are a small team so you should be able to take a project and run with it. You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience specializing in visual design and experience designing digital ads, websites, logo design, and ppt. Prior agency experience is a plus.
Required Technical Skills
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, and Adobe XD)
- Experience in After Effects and/or motion graphics a plus
- Conceptualize and develop fresh campaigns and graphics for both print and digital.
- Proactively take ownership of each project with minimal instruction, from initial brainstorms to final file production.
