When was the last time someone changed your mind on a significant issue in the socio-political sphere?<\/p>\n
If you\u2019re like most people I know, it was probably a long time ago.<\/p>\n
I like the political debate just as much as the next person, especially if conducted over a glass of wine and I confess I indulge in more than my fair share. But other than serving as entertainment for the evening, I confess these have done nothing to either change my views or indeed convince others of the folly of their ways.\ufeff<\/span><\/p>\n The country stands starkly divided with apparently no one willing to give an inch. Surely, we can\u2019t all be right on both sides of the debate.
