Here are some of the<strong> advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fairly easy to create<\/li>\n<li>Files are small<\/li>\n<li>Great for the Web<\/li>\n<li>Can be used in PowerPoint (walk-in, intro, breaks, closing)<\/li>\n<li>Can be used on a laptop (as a product demo, ROI calculator, a full presentation, to name a few)<\/li>\n<li>Far cheaper than video<\/li>\n<li>More powerful, natural animation than presentation software can provide<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A few <strong>disadvantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not easily revised, unlike PowerPoint<\/li>\n<li>Flash .exe files can\u2019t be easily emailed. All firewalls strip .exe file from the email since they\u2019re one of the top ways to spread viruses.<\/li>\n<li>Heavily photographic pieces can be problematic<\/li>\n<li>Can\u2019t be created by a non-pro<\/li>\n<li>Much longer timeline due to multiple steps \u2013 script, theme, photos, music, voice over, storyboard, first draft, approvals, final drafts and revisions<\/li>\n<li>Can be expensive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Flash is a great multimedia tool.
